Systems Engineer

Paranet, a growing 26-year-old IT Managed Services company, is seeking a talented Systems Engineer (SE) to join our team. The Systems Engineer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance to our customers via the phone and completing regular systems maintenance tasks while delivering world-class customer service. Therefore, the Systems Engineer must excel at written and verbal communication. A strong desire to learn and the ability to adapt to rapid challenges are crucial traits necessary for success as a Systems Engineer. Growth and Promotion opportunities are available. 

Our office is located in Addison, TX at Spring Valley and the Tollway, blocks away from the Galleria shopping center. In late July of 2018, we are relocating to Richardson, TX at Campbell and 75.

Systems Engineer Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or military experience
• 3 years of experience supporting small/medium sized businesses
• 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7, 10, and Mac OS
• A minimum of 1 -2+ years working knowledge of:
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • TCP/IP
  • DNS
  • DHCP

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience supporting small/medium sized businesses.
• 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7, 10, and Mac OS
• Microsoft Certifications
• Citrix Certifications
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • Citrix XenApp
  • Windows Server
  • Networking
