About the Role:

As a Material Handler, you will help keep Thern’s manufacturing operation supplied and customer orders moving. Working within the Logistics team, you will receive and organize materials, maintain accurate inventory records, deliver parts to production cells, and prepare finished equipment for shipment. Careful picking, clear communication about stock levels, and secure packing help the team avoid delays and protect products in transit. This role suits someone who enjoys active, hands-on work and takes pride in keeping materials organized and accounted for.

What You Will Do:

• Inspect incoming freight, document damage, and resolve freight claims promptly.
• Verify purchased goods, process receiving paperwork, and record receipts, locations, and inventory issues in the MRP inventory system.
• Identify, label, and store materials; pick specified quantities and kit parts for production and customer orders.
• Monitor stock levels, communicate shortages to buyers and planners, and perform cycle counts to help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Pull, pack, crate, load, and secure finished products for shipment; build skids and pallets as needed.
• Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other handling equipment to move materials and load or unload freight.
• Deliver materials to the correct locations throughout the building and follow established procedures. Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; read and follow standard operating procedures and management instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and accurately identify, label, locate, and record inventory.

Physical Requirements:

• Work in a warehouse and manufacturing setting, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for eight hours during the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
