Summit Drilling is seeking a detail-oriented Part-time Estimator to join our team in Fort Mill, SC. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our project planning process by preparing accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for drilling projects. What You'll Do

• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and scope documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Research and evaluate material costs, labor rates, and equipment requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather project information
• Prepare competitive bid proposals and quotations for clients
• Maintain organized records of estimates and historical project data
• Review estimates for accuracy and completeness before submission
• Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding project timelines and costs

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an estimator in drilling, construction, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of drilling operations, equipment, and industry standards
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable and professional communication abilities

Bonus Skills

• Experience with specialized estimating software platforms
• Familiarity with drilling safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Previous experience in business development or sales support
