About the Freelance B2B Paid Media Specialist (Paid Search/PPC & Paid Social)
We’re looking for an experienced fractional Freelance Paid Media Specialist who is ready to execute a strategic B2B plan. This remote part-time contractor role requires both advanced B2B strategy and hands-on execution across paid search/PPC ads (Google, Bing, etc.) and paid social ads (LinkedIn, Meta, etc.). It is ideal for a partner who understands how to position and scale a hybrid SaaS + professional services business and prefers flexible, part-time engagements.
You’ll partner directly with our marketing leadership to plan, manage, and optimize high-value B2B lead generation funnels across paid search (and potentially paid social). The primary goals are landing page conversions and scheduled discovery calls with C-suite decision-makers (CEO, COO, CFO).
We’re looking for a strategic partner who can bring fresh ideas, test messaging and positioning, and refine targeting to drive measurable ROI.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage paid search and paid social campaigns across Google, Microsoft/Bing, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta (open to other recommendations)
- Create a clear testing and optimization strategy around audience, copy, and creative
- Set up conversion tracking and reporting dashboards (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.)
- Optimize landing pages and ad funnels to maximize qualified conversions (scheduled appointments, form fills, completed assessments/surveys, etc.)
- Partner with our marketing team to align campaigns with funnel stages and content offers (assessments, one-pagers, consultations)
- Recommend budget allocation, targeting, and creative experiments to improve cost-per-qualified-lead
- Report weekly on performance, insights, and next-step recommendations
Who You Are
- U.S.-based contractor/freelancer (must live in the U.S.)
- 3+ years of B2B Paid Media experience (PPC/Search & Paid Social), driving high-value lead generation targeting C-suite audiences
- Expertise managing campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, and LinkedIn Ads is required
- Proven success running campaigns for SaaS + service businesses (bonus: experience with fractional, consulting, or recruiting/HR models)
- Skilled at reaching executive-level audiences (CFO, COO, CEO) through cold targeting and precision campaigns
- Strategic thinker who can refine messaging and positioning, not just execute campaigns
- Analytical and data-driven — comfortable demonstrating metrics that show clear ROI and optimization opportunities
- Collaborative and proactive; comfortable in weekly check-ins and quick pivots based on performance data
What We’re Looking For
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- ~10 hours per week (can range from 5-15 hrs/week based on current campaign needs)
- 60–90 day pilot period, with option to extend based on performance
- Flexible schedule with remote collaboration (i.e. video meetings)
- Must provide case studies or past results that demonstrate measurable lead generation, conversion improvements, or ROI in similar B2B models
Compensation
- Base pay + performance-bonus structure (bonuses tied to qualified conversions)
- Compensation range negotiated based on scope and proposed structure
