Position Summary:

Basements Plus is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support the daily operations of our warehouse. The role involves receiving materials, organizing inventory, assisting with shipping/receiving, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. You will report to the Logistics Manager and play a key role in ensuring efficient material flow throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of warehouse and surrounding areas
• Restock shelves and bins in accordance with warehouse core processes
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Track backorders and special orders to ensure timely project delivery
• Prepare materials for production teams based on daily pick lists
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory
• Assist with loading/unloading company production vehicles
• Use Sortly to track inventory levels and update item locations
• Support equipment maintenance and tool tracking
• Enforce all safety protocols and uphold Basements Plus core processes

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (Chauffeur’s license preferred)
• 1–2 years of warehouse or inventory experience preferred
• Familiarity with Sortly or other inventory management systems a strong plus
• Ability to lift 60 lbs overhead and operate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, Hi-Lo)
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to take initiative and follow directions
• Basic computer and mobile app skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
