Location: McKinney, TX

Job Summary

This position is responsible for building, troubleshooting, and maintaining the voluntary benefit products utilized by insurance carriers and brokers to enroll eligible employees in benefit offerings

Key Responsibilities

• Build, update and maintain insurance products within BenSelect.
• Analyze client defined business rules and develop voluntary products for enrollment.
• Troubleshoot client product issues and concerns.
• Configure employee benefit products for testing and assisting with setups for production.
• Develop products including rate and forms.
• Develop scripts to enforce carrier specific underwriting and product requirements.
• Report system issues, limitations, and enhancements to development group for resolution.
• Ensure applications are populating and displaying correctly.
• Review carrier underwriting requirements.
• Troubleshoot and correct customer issues
• Meet product development and support deadlines.
• Participate in staff meetings, conference calls, and other meetings, as needed.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Technical competence in Java Script and general PC knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to represent the organization positively in both internal and external interactions
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Exhibits a strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proven client relationship skills
• Team player
• Proven ability to multitask
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
