Remote Business Development Account Manager - Wireless Sales

Premier Wireless Business Technology Solutions (PWBTS), an industry leader is seeking a Business Development Account Manager!

 

  • Salary: Annual at plan $75k ($40k base + 50% commission)
  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM CST
  • Location: 100% remote eligible (must reside in the U.S.) or in-office at 9555 W. Sam Houston Parkway S. Suite 550, Houston, TX.

Business Development Account Manager Job Summary:

Our Business Development Account Managers handle B2B outreach in order to facilitate new sales for Premier. They participate in customer meetings to uncover opportunities and recommend solutions. The Business Development Account Managers also support Sales Executives in setting appointments with potential new customers and clients.

 

Business Development Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Make 100+ outbound calls per day
  • Set qualified appointments for the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure (mid-level hires help drive full sales funnel)
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, emails, and outbound cold calls
  • Understand how to uncover customer needs and requirements
  • Ability to build business client relationships
  • Understand our product and service offerings to present solutions
  • Achieve and exceed monthly goals
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Team with partners to build pipeline and close deals

 

Business Development Account Manager Core Qualifications:

  • BA/BS College degree preferred or an equivalent of education plus experience in a sales environment 
  • 2+ years experience selling a technical product solution in a B2B business-to-business office environment (**not in a wireless retail store**)
  • 2+ years of high call volume experience achieving sales quota in a “hunter” environment
  • Experience in educational or government sales a plus
  • Experience working with a CRM – example Salesforce.com
  • Strong phone presence and successful experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Word, and basic level Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • The candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for future sponsorship
