VP of Product Management

The VP of Product Management will be central to the continuing growth and development of the best team & customer experience in our industry, building on success to date in response to this amazing growth opportunity.

 

  • Location: The ideal candidate is local to our U.S. Headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado (or open to relocation) and flexible to work in-office. We are still work-from-home temporarily due to COVID-19.
  • Reports Into: ikeGPS CEO. This position will be a member of the senior leadership team.

 

The VP Product Management will be a key member of the IKE leadership team accountable to:

  • Create and execute customer-focused product strategy
  • Define solution framework and offerings
  • Develop and lead product management processes and tools
    • Product requirements
    • Offerings and Pricing
    • Value propositions
  • Create product roadmaps and build consensus within IKE
  • Balance product decisions with business, engineering, and sales priorities

 

VP of Product Management Requirements and Capabilities:

  • Academic credentials including the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in business, marketing, technology development, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive product leadership solutions experience, with broad expertise across all product management disciplines
  • Experience creating and implementing successful strategies to generate market demand for new products and solutions
  • Strong collaboration & negotiation skills, showing the ability to influence without ownership, gaining support and trust across an organization to achieve agreed business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to listen, decipher and clearly convey complex ideas and data to a variety of audiences, including customers, partners, sales, and analysts
  • Outstanding project management skills and the proven ability to manage complex product initiatives
  • Demonstrated success developing and retaining engaged, high-performing teams by aligning talent to business objectives and empowering team members
  • Demonstrated success building strategic product campaigns that drive revenue
  • ​The successful applicant will demonstrate some or all of the following:
    • Experience working with engineering design for fiber, wireless, and power distribution deployments. (Might be too limiting so will not exclude those without but would be 1st prize.)
    • Track record selling and delivering into tier-1 communications and electric utility clientele, and their engineering service providers
    • Experience operating across all levels of a business, with demonstrated success interacting across functions at an executive level
