The Boon Group, Inc., an AssuredPartners subsidiary, is in need of an Implementation Manager.

The Implementation Manager Role:

The Implementation Manager is responsible for managing implementation processes, projects and transition of client accounts to team members. The Implementation Manager works closely with internal sales staff, brokers, external clients and internal departments.

Required Education & Experience for The Implementation Manager :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Administration, preferred
• College degree can be substituted with 2 years of experience in benefits administration or employee benefits experience
• Previous experience in project management, Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Group 1 insurance license preferred; must be eligible for licensing within first 90 days of employment

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit for extended periods; Repetitive motions

The Implementation Manager Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate experience in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of employee benefits products and benefit plan administration
• Strong communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and implementations with varying deliverables
• Ability to explain and understand complex concepts
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of technical concepts associated with implementation process
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in projects, processes and/or deliverables

The Implementation Manager Day-to-Day: 

• Manages the implementation of new Government and/or Commercial groups from post-sale to inception
• Provides the organization with business, process and technical analysis in support of client needs
• Facilitates internal and external stakeholder conference calls.
• Creates, distributes and manages project schedules and timelines
• Documents plan requirements, ensures accurate implementation of plan, and completes implementation checklists
• Submits plan requirements to Salesforce
• Drives Jira tasking system and team efforts to meet deliverables and timeline expectations
• Sets up the new group with the various carriers and initiates new group set up within the internal proprietary systems
• Responsible for reconciliation and auditing of client enrollment files through completion of the initial enrollment file
• Supports internal sales staff when necessary including occasional travel
• Ensures project deliverables are met on a weekly basis
• Identifies, tracks and analyzes potential issues that may impact implementation
• Formulates resolution plan for all escalated deliverables
• Follow the company policies and procedures required to comply with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including but not limited to SOC controls, and HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned
