Leading Insurance Company, Assured Partners, is Seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager (Business Insurance Broker Services)!

Office Location: In-office role at 500 N Central Expressway, Suite 550, Plano, TX 75074

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CST

 

Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager Role:

Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent in education and experience)
  • Property and Casualty Insurance license (active)
  • 5+ years' experience managing business commercial line insurance accounts across all client industry types and coverages (very familiar with all business property and casualty coverage options: worker's compensation, commercial multiple peril, commercial auto, fire/flood, and other commercial insurance lines)
  • Experience working within an insurance brokerage or carrier provider
  • Moderate level of technical commercial insurance coverage knowledge
  • High level of proficiency quoting through Independent Agency’s appointed carriers
  • Commit to, utilize, and follow current operating systems and procedures while remaining adaptive/flexible to changing demands of a growing company
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and strong keyboarding skills


Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business clients to address a broad range of commercial insurance issues including, but not limited to: identifying exposures to risk, developing and executing a strategy to minimize the exposure, maximizing the value of any necessary insurance products for the client, overseeing strategy implementation, identifying and making adjustments to insurance strategy to match developing business needs
  • Ensure accuracy, successful implementation, and ongoing administration of commercial insurance programs
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment handling a large volume of calls, emails, faxes, and paperwork without cutting corners while maintaining accuracy and integrity
  • Acquire and retain new and existing business relationships
  • Prepare and deliver clear, thoughtful, and concise presentations (via phone, internet and face-to-face meetings) to various client and potential client audiences with diverse backgrounds to secure new and maintain existing client relationships
  • Connect with prospective and existing clients to address a broad range of insurance, liability, and risk management issues
  • Create communication materials to help business owners, Chief Financial Officers, and Risk Managers, better understand and appreciate the value of potential insurance strategies
  • Research complex risk management and coverage issues, think outside the box to solve problems and follow up promptly with actionable solutions
  • Resolve client issues in a timely manner proactively and collaboratively with the team to ensure insurance programs run smoothly
  • Manage a large number of time sensitive client issues at any given time
  • Learn and develop technical knowledge through vendor meetings, research, and training classes on an ongoing basis
  • Keep a detailed record of correspondence through our client relationship system with prospective and existing clients, vendors, and referral partners
