Compensation: $20–$25/hour DOE

Schedule: Part-Time (Under 30 Hours Per Week)

Duration: 10–12 Week Summer Internship

About the Internship:

ConnexPay is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to support our Architecture Team on projects focused on automation, AI tools, and operational efficiency. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about emerging technologies, AI-assisted development, and solving business problems through automation.

You’ll collaborate with technical leaders to help streamline workflows and build automation solutions that improve scalability and productivity across the organization.
 

 

What You’ll Do:

• Support projects involving AI tools and workflow automation
• Assist with scripting, integrations, and process improvements
• Help research and test emerging AI technologies
• Build internal automation utilities and proof-of-concept tools
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on technical initiatives
• Participate in troubleshooting and optimization efforts
• Document technical processes and solutions

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Interest in AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable learning new platforms and technologies quickly
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, or AI tools is a plus
