Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Patient Service Representative skills required include:

• Excellent telephone communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times with patients and coworkers

We are searching for a part-time representative to work 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm, M-F, who is professional, courteous, and efficient.

 

This person will be responsible for:

• Scheduling patient appointments
• Verifying insurance carriers
• Answering calls
• Performing triage for patients who need to be seen immediately.
• Finalizing patients' appointments and collecting any payments due.

 

The ideal candidate is reliable, supportive in a team environment, and is able to multitask in this busy optometric office setting.

 

Job Type: Part-time
