Administrative Support Specialist

Top-rated Exteriors Home Improvement company looking to add an Administrative Support Specialist to its award-winning team in the Appleton, Wisconsin office. 

 

Location: Office in Appleton, WI

Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience.

Hours/Shifts: Monday - Friday (15 hours a week).  Starting out as 3, 5 hours days, flexible schedule.

Schedule: Flexible 

Job Type: Part-time, temp to permanent hire (W2) after 90 days 

Comparable Titles: Office Manager, Office Coordinator, Administrative Secretary, etc.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Office Supplies and Literature: Managing inventory and distribution of office supplies and marketing literature.
  • IT Troubleshooting: Addressing basic IT issues and liaising with external IT support as needed.
  • Permitting: Facilitating the permitting process for projects, ensuring compliance and timelines are met.
  • Paperwork Processing: Handling care packages and documentation accurately and efficiently, maintaining organized records.
  • Administrative Support: Answers or redirects general customer questions including reception phone work and clerical duties.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic understanding of permitting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and logistics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation; professional handling of inquiries.
  • Good computer and phone skills; CRM experience is a plus.
  • Honest, professional demeanor with a can-do attitude and drive.
