EDI Project Coordinator Job Summary
The Project Coordinator for the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Department will support the management and execution of EDI projects, ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, external stakeholders, and software developers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. The Project Coordinator will assist the EDI Process Manager in tracking project progress, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.

 

 

EDI Project Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the full life cycle of EDI projects, ensuring timely completion within scope.

  • Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to optimize EDI operations.

  • Support gathering and documentation of project requirements.

  • Track and monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or roadblocks.

  • Facilitate communication between project teams and software developers.

  • Maintain and update project documentation, including scopes and requirements.

  • Monitor file transmissions to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

  • Provide administrative support for testing and implementation efforts.

 

EDI Project Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in project coordination or a related role (experience in EDI or benefits administration is a plus).

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Monday.com, etc.).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and adapt to changing project needs.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with benefits administration systems (Selerix, etc.).

  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
