Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (1099 Contract) to oversee and coordinate construction projects across various locations. This role requires 100% travel to job sites. Compensation is structured per project/contract, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals seeking flexibility and competitive earnings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
  • Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Budget & Cost Management
  • Track project expenses, labor costs, and material procurement to stay within budget.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Approve invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
• Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and field teams.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to assess project progress and address challenges.
  • Provide timely updates and reports to ownership and clients.
• Quality Control & Safety Compliance
  • Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Enforce OSHA and job site safety standards.
     

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management (residential and/or
• commercial).
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and permitting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors simultaneously.
• Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g.,Gantt Chart Timelines, Smartsheet, Excel, Blubeam, and progress reporting.)
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel 100% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• General Contractor’s License or relevant certifications.
• Experience with design-build projects and value engineering.
• Strong vendor and subcontractor network.
