Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Electrician (1099 Contractor) for ongoing residential and light commercial work in the Seekonk, MA area. This role is ideal for a licensed electrician or experienced technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values the flexibility and independence of 1099 work.

This is a local-only role — candidates must reside within commuting distance of Seekonk, MA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rough and finish electrical work for renovations, remodels, and new build projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues on-site.
• Install, inspect, and maintain wiring, lighting systems, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trade partners for timely job completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Provide your own tools, transportation, and work attire.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience (residential or light commercial).
• Must have a current Massachusetts electrician license (preferred but not required with demonstrated experience).
• Proven track record of reliability and high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
• Must carry or be willing to obtain general liability insurance (preferred).
• Must pass a background screening if required by the client.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
