New Business Area Sales Manager Packaging - Remote

Position Summary

The New Business Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for expanding market share, identifying sustainable and profitable sales opportunities, and developing new product initiatives within the assigned geographic area (Europe). Reporting to the Group Strategic Marketing Director and NB Sales Director, this role plays a critical part in driving growth through innovative strategies, client relationship management, and sales performance optimization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Territorial Management: Oversee sales of commercially released solutions within the designated geographic area.
  • Sales Team Coordination: Recruit, coordinate, and support sales representatives and distributors to meet sales targets.
  • Lead Generation and Client Relationships: Identify and manage new leads, build a robust customer portfolio, and maintain strong client and business partner relationships.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales performance, develop corrective actions, and ensure targets are met.
  • Sales Policy Development: Plan and implement sales policies and strategies aligned with the NB Sales Division's objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, monitor competition, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to enhance company awareness, promote business opportunities, and support product development.
  • Project Management: Oversee new product development projects and ensure timely execution.
  • Synergies Development: Identify potential commercial synergies with the Core Business Sales organization.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration or comparable studies.
  • Strong business acumen with 4-6 years of account management experience in the packaging industry (preferably label manufacturing, converters, or printers).
  • Proven track record in market development and client relationship management.
  • Experience in matrix organizations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and familiarity with Adobe Suite is appreciated.

Additional Information

  • Travel: Required within Europe; specific travel frequency TBD.
  • This role requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to think outside the box, adapt to changing environments, and take the initiative in growing the company’s market presence.
