Senior Tax Manager -CPA Required

Location: Dallas, Texas 
Compensation: DOE (Dependent on Experience)

Mission of the Role

The Senior Tax Manager serves as a visionary leader to drive the firm’s revenue growth, client satisfaction, and team development, ensuring operational excellence and strategic advancement.

 

Key Outcomes
In addition to meeting standard Manager expectations, the Senior Tax Manager is responsible for:

Efficient Workflow Management

  • Plan, budget, staff, and manage tax project workflows to meet deadlines within budgeted hours.
  • Ensure all tax projects are completed accurately and timely.

Exceptional Client Engagement

  • Address client inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Conduct quarterly touchpoints to maintain high levels of attention and engagement in line with core values.

Billing and Profitability

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and profitable billing and collection for all projects.

Team Development

  • Train, mentor, and counsel team members to build and sustain a team of “A” players.
  • Identify underperforming team members, provide opportunities for improvement, and make personnel changes if necessary.

Technical Excellence​

  • Resolve technical questions and concerns with documented substantial authority in compliance with IRS regulations and case law.

Strategic Growth

  • Expand the quality and quantity of the firm’s revenue base through advisory and enhanced services.
  • Strategically manage client portfolios by culling substandard or low-growth accounts.
