Compensation: Starting at $24.00/hour

Basements Plus is a family-run business. Since 2003 we have become the leading design-build basement finishing and foundation repair company in Michigan. As we grow, we are seeking to add additional superstar employees to our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cover trim, floors, furniture, and other surfaces with proper protection during the paint process
• Prepare surfaces to be painted by washing, caulking, filling holes, cracks and sanding as needed
• Apply primer and other sealers
• Apply paint, stain and other finishes to surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Estimate time and material costs on painting projects
• Maintain paint equipment
• Remove and reinstall fixtures (e.g., doorknobs, electric switch covers) as necessary
• Drywall repair and some minor finishing
• Work well in a team as well as solo
• Train and lead the team of painters assigned to your team

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience in residential painting and staining
• Experience with drywall install and finishing preferred
• Experience with general carpentry preferred
