Leading Insurance Company, Assured Partners, is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive!

Compensation: Competitive

Office Location: In-office role at 500 N Central Expressway, Suite 550, Plano, TX 75074 (temporarily work-from-home during COVID-19)

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CST (full-time with flexible options available)


Employee Benefits Account Executive Role:

We are searching for a friendly, attentive Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team. As a part of our collective team interfacing directly with our clients and prospects, you will be responsible for consistently delivering our client experience. Employee Benefits Account Executive Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent in education and experience)
  • Life & Health Insurance license 
  • 5+ years’ experience in Employee Benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage
  • High level of empathy for others while maintaining persistent determination to motivate them to take action and improve their situation
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Commit to, utilize, and follow current operating systems and procedures while remaining adaptive/flexible to changing demands of a growing company
  • Data entry accuracy
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and strong keyboarding skills


Employee Benefits Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Work with groups with 10 – 50 employees
  • Provide top-notch client service to clients via in-person meetings/phone/internet
  • Ensure accurate, successful implementation of employee benefits
  • Conduct employee enrollment meetings
  • Educate clients on federal and state regulations that may impact their business
  • Manage a large number of time sensitive client issues at any given time
  • Resolve client issues in a timely manner and collaborate with the team to ensure benefit programs run smoothly
  • Connect with prospective and existing clients to address a broad range of benefit issues
  • Assist with the Success Lab™ process for new business relationships
  • Prepare and deliver clear, thoughtful, and concise presentations (via phone, internet, and face-to-face meetings) for various client and potential client audiences with diverse backgrounds to secure new and maintain existing client relationships
  • Review and present mid-plan year Results Monitor™ (6 month check-in) to clients
  • Present benefit options to both new and renewing clients
  • Research complex legal, tax, and coverage issues (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, Section 125 regulations, etc.), think outside the box to solve problems, and follow up promptly with actionable solutions
  • Learn and develop benefit knowledge through carrier meetings, research, and training classes on an ongoing basis
  • Keep a detailed record of correspondence through our client relationship system with prospective and existing clients, vendors, and referral partners
