HoopsHR is seeking a Sales Account Manager

Salary: $50,000 base + commission Job Type: Full-time

Location: Dallas, TX; Hybrid work from home and in-office

The Opportunity

Account Managers at HoopsHR help organizations more effectively, and cost efficiently, execute their talent acquisition strategy. In this role, you will cultivate relationships with small, entrepreneurial businesses across the US and promote the power of our products and services to help organizations grow.  The ideal candidate for this role has the ability to:

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and business objectives.
  • Oversee the delivery of services purchased, collaborating with the customer success teams to guarantee client satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client value through cross-selling and upselling additional HoopsHR products and services.
  • Develop and execute account plans that lead to the expansion of the company footprint within assigned accounts.
  • Monitor account health, identifying and mitigating any potential issues that could impact client retention.
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales to report on account status, forecast growth opportunities, and strategize on service improvements.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the recruiting and people management solution industries to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Craft clear and persuasive proposals and communications tailored to client needs and industry trends.
  • Analyze sales data, identifying trends, and using insights to develop strategies for account growth 
  • Cultivate relationships through phone, email, social media and professional networking
  • Conduct presentations over the phone, via webinar and face-to-face
  • May work with HoopsHR Business Development Representative (BDR) to ensure you are investing your time presenting to qualified prospects
  • Previous experience in expanding internal customer recruiting products and services is a plus
  • Previous experience and success in roles such as: Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Manager (BDM), Business Development Executive (BDE), Sales Manager, Sales Executive, Inside Sales Executive, CLOSER

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong ability to forecast against your targets
  • Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and growing accounts within the recruiting or people management solution industries.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to present complex solutions clearly and confidently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive customer success.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities to enhance client value.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in account management, customer success, or a similar role in relevant industries.
